Polar Express Celebration
On Friday, December 9 visit the library between 6:30 and 8:30 PM to celebrate the magic of the Polar Express. Take a trip on the Polar Express Trolley through Rochester's "Big Bright Light Show," visit with Santa, become a certified elf, listen to the magical story, and so much more! This evening will be filled with holiday cheer and memory-making. To secure a spot on the trolley, register through the Events Calendar. Registration opens Friday, November 25

You’ll also be able to make a festive table decoration and hear a fun story to get you in the mood for your visit into lantern-lit Greenfield Village. As a separate treat, Santa Claus will be on hand and make a personal visit to each table!


Free Panera Family Fun Day - Saturday, December 10th from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Enjoy free reading activities, crafts and cookie decorating for children at 51490 Gratiot in Chesterfield or 26580 Ford Road in Dearborn Heights.  Event hosted by United Way.
