Red Oaks Youth Soccer Complex Playground

The playground we love to go to the most with my 3 year old son is part of the Red Oaks County Park. It is located in Madison Heights on Dartmouth St., (on the East side of John R, north of 12 Mile Road.)
It’s right behind the Lowes Home Improvement store. It is one of the biggest playgrounds I’ve seen. It has a bit of everything and nicely tucked away with fencing all around. The ground is covered with mulch.
It has one large play structure which has a lot of features and one smaller one for the toddlers to enjoy. It also has parallel bars, spinning monkey bars, stand alone mini rock climb, plenty of swings for younger and older children.
It also includes an area for adult exercise. It has a small covered picnic area equipped with garbage cans and public restrooms that are open from Memorial Day to Halloween from 10am to dusk.
Behind the picnic area is large a soccer field, available when soccer practices/games are not in session. What I like about this one playground is that it’s a bit of everything for everyone. I like that the toddler structure is in separate area so that I don’t have worry about the older kids running into my toddler.
