Boogie Babies - Updated

We have been attending Boogie Babies every Tuesday for almost a year now.  It is no secret that it is one of my favorite places to take Rosa to play.  The laid back atmosphere and open layout make it easy to keep an eye on your little ones while you chat with other adults.  Things have changed since our first review enough to warrant an update on what they offer.

Boogie Babies is located on Star Batt Drive in Rochester Hills.  Located right off of Crooks Road, north of M-59.  Simply turn East onto Star Batt from Crooks and take the second driveway on the left, the entrance to Boogie Babies will be straight ahead.

When you first arrive you will need to check in and remove your shoes.  Socks are required for all adults and children, but don't worry, if you forget yours they are available (for a small fee) at the front desk.  There is plenty of space to store your belongings in their cubby room.

As you enter, you will see the parent lounge to your right.  Outfitted with comfortable seating, a flat screen TV, and a cafe with coffee, drinks and snacks.  Boogie Babies strives to be a peanut free zone, so outside food is not allowed.

A book nook is available for the children to sit and read a story or work on a puzzle.

A kitchen is available with adult and child seating, high chairs, counter space and a refrigerator, making this a great location for your child's next birthday party.

The arts & crafts area features crayons, paper, glue sticks, ribbons, stickers and other items to create a masterpiece, along with a chalkboard wall & chalk.

The children's kitchen area is outfitted with appliances, a small table and chairs, plastic food, dishes and other items that spark creativity and dramatic play.

An infant/toddler area hosts soft blocks, mirrors, infant toys, small slide and an Exersaucer so younger guests can explore and enjoy their visit as well.

Boogie Babies also features a large playscape with a super fast slide, train table, doll house, work bench, little theater with a 10 foot screen, dress up clothes, computers with age appropriate games, Wii and Playstation for older guests and comfy chairs for caregivers.

You can visit Boogie Babies online, visit their Facebook page or see more images from our gallery.
