Hardees on John R: Hazel Park

We recently had the opportunity to visit the Hardees on John R, just north of Nine Mile, in Hazel Park.  I have been steering away from the fast food chains for a while now, and even more so with my new fitness plan, but I have to say that this place was very nice.

Sure the equipment and chairs look a little worn, but I was seriously impressed with the employees.  Upon arrival one of the employees was in the structure cleaning.  Wow.  She greeted us with a smile and asked how we were.  We settled in and let the children play, and a few minutes later she came by and asked if there was anything we needed.

I ordered a kids meal for Rosa and her friend.  The food was acceptable, chicken tenders and fries.  The employee who took our order was polite.   I really like how we didn't have to wait for our food at the counter, we were given a number and the food was brought to us when it was ready.  All of the employees seemed very cheerful and happy to be working there.  One of the gals even offered to refill our drinks... simply amazing!!

As for the structure, it is a little worn and consists of twelve cube shapes stacked in a tower with a slide.  Nothing too fancy, but enough to keep the kids busy!
