This school year has already been crazy, and it has just started. Many parents are feeling a bit unsatisfied with the learning experience this year which means looking for new ways to teach. It can be hard to find books that encourage your child to read daily. That is why I LOVE National Geographic books for kids. We have quite a few from the series. In fact, we have two full shelves in our bookcase dedicated to them. These books are always at the top of our list for gift ideas for birthdays and Christmas. We love that they cover a wide range of topics, mostly in science and history.
Many of the book titles contain a series of topics that normally span no more than a two-page spread in the book. Due to the brevity of the topics, the books easy to pick up and put down. In fact, they are perfect for car rides, doctor’s office visits, or when they are waiting for just about anything.

Amber is the proud mother to four beautiful children, Damian (27), Rosaleigh (14), Carlyn (11), and Naomi (8). Her family also includes four cats.
