Easter Hard Boiled Eggs

Brighten up your Deviled Eggs for Easter with this fun recipe.

Hard boil your eggs, peel em, cut them in half, empty the yolks in a bowl, set aside the halves.

Fill a coffee mug or glass bowl with cold water, 1 tsp of vinegar and a few drops of food coloring.

Dip the eggs in the mix until the desired color is reached.
Rinse with water and allow to dry.

Continue to make the eggs using your favorite Deviled Egg recipe.

Here is one of mine:

6 hard-cooked eggs
2 tablespoons Miracle Whip (not Mayo)
1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Slice eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set whites aside. In a small bowl, mash yolks with a fork. Add the Miracle Whip and Mustard; mix well (I use an electric mixer to get them really creamy). Stuff or pipe into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate until serving. Yield: 1 dozen.

Here is another one of my secrets, I use the Wilton Dessert Decorator Plus to pipe the mixture into the eggs.  It makes them look so professional.
