The Science of Rock and Roll Exhibit is an absolute necessary stop for rock stars of all ages! Record your own vocal track, guitar riff, drum solo, and read up on generations of music while you’re at it! Admission for kids 2-12 years is $16.95 and adults are $19.95. For just $1 more you get a “Backstage Pass” which can be activated to record video and audio of everything you do while rocking out in the exhibit. Emails get sent to your personal account with password-protected access to your musical masterpieces.

Prices may seem a little high for a few hours of exploration, but I have to say it’s worth it! Many aspects of the Science Center are exciting and support problem solving development for young children, but the Science of Rock and Roll exhibit makes admission costs worth every penny! Music is medicine and be ready for a huge dose when you pay a visit to the Science of Rock and Roll exhibit downtown Detroit at the Michigan Science Center! Rock and roll is in the D (but only til December)!
