The summer season is here and we will be out and about taking pictures and visiting some of Metro Detroit's parks, playground, pools and splash pads.  Skin care is so very important so I was thrilled to find SwimZip online.

SwimZip UV Swimwear blocks 98% of UVA and UVB withUPF 50+ sun protection.  Not only that they are super cute and stylish.

MELANOMA IN OUR TEENAGERS HAS INCREASED BY 100% in 10 years!

Betsy and her brother, Berry, founded SwimZip sun protection kids swimwear because they truly want to help turn these skin cancer statistics around.

Did you know that 95% of skin cancers are preventable! SwimZip is on a mission to develop awareness of UV protection kids swimwear and how easy it can be!

We chose the Sassy Surfer style for the girls.  The most prominent feature of these UV Swimwear is the zipper, which makes the SwimZip easy to put on and take off (both wet and dry).  There is an inner flap of material that protects the skin during use and keeps the child safe while zipping. The zipper garage at the top holds the zipper and protects the child from scratches and irritation at the neckline.

Here is the Zipper Garage!!
The fabric used by SwimZip is a Lycra/Nylon blend that allows for quick drying and has an extremely soft texture.  It also chlorine resistant, which means the suit will last longer.  The design of the suit includes flatlock stitching which eliminates chafing and irritation on the skin at the seams and Raglan Sleeves which allow for active toddlers and children to move freely.

The bottoms are designed to fit and stretch to accommodate a wide variety of waistlines.  I love how the suits are two pieces but have a modest one piece look.  This makes using the restroom or changing a diaper much easier.   These suits also have a build in liner, so for older children the suit is all you need.

  1. I love this idea. My daughter hates putting a rash guard on over her head because they are so tight.
