Piggy Paint - Nail Polish for children #giveaway {ends 6/25}

The girls are getting older and have shown an interest in paining their nails, so I contacted Piggy Paint to see if I could try out their product and share it with you on my page.  They sent me the following in exchange for this promotional post:
Clear Basecoat
Angel Kisses (pink)
Sea-Quin (blue) &
Topcoat (white, dries clear)

I love Piggy Paint nail polish because it is non-toxic, eco-friendly, kid-friendly and has a very low odor.  Plus they have a ton of fun bright colors to choose from.

I tired the paint out for the first time a few days ago.  The girls were thrilled to have their nails painted.  Carlyn was way too wiggly to do her nails well, but she let me do one coat on her toes and nails.
Rosa was being Rosa and insisted that I only do one coat on her nails.

I did my nails (one basecoat, three coats of pink, a topcoat and plenty of drying).  I also did my toenails, two coats of blue, but one coat would have been just fine.

Piggy Paint suggest that for maximum chip resistance, blowdry for 1 minute with warm heat/low blowersetting (sing 2 rounds of ABC’s while blowdrying for extra fun!).

 Overall I love the concept of using a safe nail polish on my little cuties.  They are made in the USA with natural ingredients, are non-flammable and contain no formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, bisphenol A (BPA), ethyl acetate or acetone. And because they are hypoallergenic, everyone can enjoy them.

The one drawback is that it seems to not last as long as traditional nail polish.  But with little kids, I prefer the safe option of Piggy Paint over the flammable, smelly, toxic stuff that they will inevitably ingest when sucking on their fingers, eating or doing what kids do.

You can find Piggy Paint online, on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.
