I have to tell you I am looking forward to this movie coming out on October 10th.  I think it is going to be a fantastic family movie.

love the "Wreck It Ralph" reference. I know we all have bad days, but have you ever had a "Wreck It Ralph" moment?

Just yesterday, I let the kids eat outside, then tripped on the way back in spilling all the uneaten cottage cheese right onto the clean laundry sitting on the couch. Yup, that was funny.

Way back when, shortly after we bought our first house, I painted my son's room, unassisted. Here is a list of the pro tips I shared after my experience:

  1. Just because there is a nail in the wall, doesn't mean there is a stud behind it. Use care when removing said nail or you may end up with a bigger hole than what you anticipated.
  2. Do not paint with a fan on.
  3. Do not paint with a cat in the room.
  4. When removing the lid from the paint, do not set it on the floor.
  5. If you do, don't sit on it.
  6. If you do sit on the lid, don't move to the only carpet area not covered by a drop cloth and sit down.
  7. When using painters tape, place it on the section of the wall where you want to keep the paint from touching... not that it works, painter's tape is a waste really.
  8. When placing the lid back on the paint can, don't smack it hard with a hammer, especially if there is paint in the rim.
Care to share about a time you felt like "Wreck It Ralph" or just had a #verybadday? I love to read your comments.
