Parent and Professional Partnership: Building Collaborative Skills FREE Workshop

Michigan Alliance for Families in Northwestern Wayne County is offering a free workshop, hosted by Kenya Harper-Black, on October 23rd from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at Romulus Public Library, 11121 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI. Our goal is to help parents and school staff  effectively plan for students with disabilities. 

Learning Objectives:
Learn practical skills for participation and agreement in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) process.
        >    Solution planning and writing action plans will be emphasized.
        >    Avoid conflict and disputes through clear communication.
Who should attend: Families of children/young adults with disabilities/learning challenges, school staff, community members and organizations.
