Imagination Station invites families with children kindergarten age and younger to discover Little Scientists Week, March 10 – 15, for science fun specially designed for their youngest visitors. The science center welcomes little paleontologists to explore the world of dinosaurs with a wide range of prehistoric activities to complete their Dino Passport.

Activities include creating a Stegosaurus using handprints, creating a roaring dinosaur through number knowledge and tracing fossils! The little scientists can roam Imagination Station and learn about dinosaurs at their level.

“The time between birth and age five is critical for brain development,” said Sloan Eberly Mann, Assistant Director of STEM Education. “Children are naturally curious and learn through play. Providing a rich, interactive learning experience for early childhood learners creates a strong foundation that will serve them for the rest of their lives. Little Scientists Week at Imagination Station allows our youngest visitors to discover the field of paleontology through activities that are at their level and that are specifically designed to pique their interests and imaginations.”
