Just Live Leggings- A Review

Metro Detroit Mommy Blogger Theresa Walker - BeachBody Coach

Just Live! facilitated this post by giving our blogger a free pair of leggings, but the content and opinions expressed here are her own.

Just Live Brand of fitness and athletic clothing was founded in 2010 and uses 100% organic and locally sourced materials.  They came up with, YOLON (proprietary fabric blend), named after the “You Only Live Once” philosophy.  I had the chance to test out a pair of leggings with this unique fabric and style, to see how they compared to my current pairs of running leggings.

The pair I chose was Cropskins, which are a cropped, skin-hugging fitted legging.

They fit somewhere between low to mid-rise on my waist.  As soon as I put them on, I noticed how soft and smooth the fabric was, however it was not quite as stretchy as my usual pair of leggings.  It was also much tighter, since these are designed to be compression type leggings to help reduce muscle recovery time as well as giving your body a tightened and toned look.  I also noticed they were slightly more light-weight.

Next it was time to go for a run!  The leggings felt great while I was running!  My legs felt slick and smooth.  Afterward, they helped wick some of the moisture away, although they didn’t quite live up to the claim that they are odor resistant!  After washing though, they did keep their color nicely.

One note for buyers, is to review their sizing online- I didn’t realize my cropskins were going to ride so low on my hips, and I’d also say that their size “Medium” fits like an average small (waist is 26-28”).

Overall, Just Live has some very fashionable designs for active-wear.  I like their mission statement and that they give 10% of profits back to charity!
