Visitor’s guide, images, and info for Walter and Mary Burke Park in New Baltimore. Beach, swimming area, fishing docks, restrooms, pavilions and more.

The Walter and Mary Burke Park is just off 23 Mile Road.  The park is located at 36300 Front Street in the heart of downtown New Baltimore. This scenic summertime getaway location features a beach, swimming area, fishing docks, boat docks, bocce ball courts as well as restrooms. Additionally, park-goers are able to rent one of the two pavilions on site.

Walter and Mary Burke Park Beach

Parking was wonderful, there were a ton of spots open close to the park entrance.  We walked down the short sidewalk and right down to the beach.

The park hosts two play structures, one is huge and probably intended for children over the age of 4 (at least).  The play structure is very tall, so close supervision may be required for younger climbers.

Walter and Mary Burke Park Playground

The second play structure was much smaller and more suitable for younger guests. In addition to the play structures, the park has many swings for the children to enjoy.

Overall this park is very clean and a great small park for the summer.  Plus, it has the added bonus of being free!

Walter and Mary Burke Park Hours and Fees
