MOD Pizza – Rochester Hills Review & Giveaway {ends 12/22}

Last week my family attended the VIP preview event at MOD Pizza in Rochester Hills. The cost of our meal was covered in exchange for this promotional post. All opinions expressed are genuine and my own, your experience may differ.

The MOD Pizza brand started in Seattle back in 2008 when a couple was inspired by their love of pizza and their need to feed four hungry boys.  Scott and Aly Svenson wanted to create something unique, a business that would create a memorable experience for both their customers and team members all while creating a fresh, handmade product they could deliver in just a few minutes.

They developed MOD Pizza, a fast casual restaurant, where customers can get a thin crust pizza or salad in a flash.  You can get one of their specialty pizzas (or salads) or load on your own toppings all for one price.

I simply love the decor and the feel of the Rochester location.  Images from Metro Detroit MOD Pizza customers welcome guests as they wait in line to place their orders.

Another great piece of artwork hangs on the opposite wall.

The space is comfortable and located just a few minutes from Downtown Rochester, close enough to be convenient, and not too close to be a part of all the chaos.  This would be a perfect lunch/dinner spot for families visiting some of the great Rochester events.  A quick, easy meal that everyone will love.

For this visit, my girls enjoyed a pepperoni child sized pizza (left) I had the Dominic (minus the red onions, pictured in the middle) and hubby tried the Caspian (added brussel sprouts and green peppers, pictured on the right). I also enjoyed the vanilla milkshake… well some of it when my daughters weren’t sipping it.

Overall, the food is great if you like thin crust.  I like that you can watch your pizza being made and they will add extra toppings and create the perfect pizza.  Having 11 pizza combination suggestions gives you a great idea about what toppings to try together, but you can always modify it to meet your taste.

They also offer a variety of bottled sodas and beer. I can’t wait to try the creme soda next time I visit.  by far one of my favorite flavors.

And if you are in a rush, or just want to enjoy your creation at home or work, (or if you can’t finish your pizza) the awesome employees at MOD Pizza will put your pizza (or salad) in a box so you can take it with you.
