Tinkertoys - Sharing our Childhood With our Children - #Giveaway

This post contains affiliate links for Amazon.com.  I was given the product mentioned in this review in exchange for this promotional post.  All opinions expressed are genuine and my own.  Your experience may differ.

I have such fond memories of playing with Tinkertoys when I was younger.  I didn't have my own, but several of my cousins and many of my friends did.  I spent hours with my friends building, playing and learning.  I love toys that are not only fun but provide a great learning experience too.

We received the Tinkertoy Essentials Value Set (150-Piece) to try out.  Rosa was the first to break open the box and start building.  She easily was able to build quite a few different creations based on the instructions, then moved on to creating her own structures.

Tinkertoys provide an educational aspect to play as children use problem solving, spacial relationships, measuring and more to build structures with different sized pieces that are color coded. Unlike the original Tinkertoys, this generation is made of plastic which allows some of the pieces to bend and allows for even more exploration, imagination and creativity with the set. The kids love to make magic wands, flowers, houses, cars and so much more.
