John R Miller Park in Southfield Visitor’s Guide and Photos

John R Miller Park is located at 18401 Webster Avenue in Southfield, just west of Southfield road. The park is well maintained and has an interesting playscape perfect for smaller children. In addition to the play structure, the park hosts a tennis court, basketball court, and baseball field. Furthermore, picnic areas are available to parkgoers.

John R Miller Park is home to tennis courts that are open to the public for play. In fact, you can even sign up using Tennis Round to meet other local tennis players for a quick match!

The park was updated in 2009 with new playground equipment that features an open feeling. The playground features several play structures, make-believe truck/fort, merry-go-round, and so much more. Sensory play for all ages can be found in the giant sandpit, however, you have to supply your own toys. At the same time, there are plenty of nearby seating options for those who wish to take in the natural surroundings while littles play.

Overall, this is a fun park and playground for parents of young children. Swing by John R. Miller Park the next time you’re looking for some free outdoor family fun!
