What Our Fans Have to Say - Girls 9th Birthday Party Ideas

New to the area and looking for ideas for my daughter's 9th Birthday party. Her birthday is in April, so indoor ideas would probably be best. Thanks in advance :) We've already thought of the Bounce House, Rollerskating, Bowling and Ice skating.

  • Metro Detroit Mommy: AirTime Trampoline & Game Park, The Robot Garage, Troy Gymnastics, American Gymnastics, Laser Tag, Sweet & Sassy
  • Caitlin -Canton has Sky Zone. A trampoline place. Really cool.
  • ONE Training - Not sure what area you are in, but we have Fit-N-Fun birthday parties ONE Training - relay races, obstacle courses, dance party etc... 4000 sq. foot absolutely gorgeous studio in Novi! Email for more details: 
  • Tara - The Lush stores do spa parties, if you are near 12 Oaks or Somerset.
  • Rebecca - I'm not sure where you are at exactly but Sweet and Sassy Salon in Novi is fun. Or Team Party Castle.
  • Michelle - Merge in Oxford does kids art parties.
  • Melissa - What area are you in?
  • Darla - Flip city in warren or the tea party castle in shelby twp.

  • Monica - The Painting Pot in Rochester Hills, Dave & Busters, Indoor Pool Party (check out your local community center), try a spa for all the girls to get manis & pedis, or Build-A-Bear (my ten year old brother still loves that place)!

  • Amy - There is a paint place in royal oak on 14 mile rd. Or a ceramic place in royal oak and one in Plymouth. Plymouth is called creatopia.
  • Natalie - Friend of mine recently went to a party held at a dance studio. Kids learned a routine. Sounded like fun. Studio was in lake Orion.
  • Alison- Have Music with Ms. Carissa do a rock star party for you!
  • Christina - Pump it up in Shelby Township. What area of Metro Detroit do you live in?
  • Becky - Just Baked does fun parties. Troy Gymnastics always does a nice job. There's also a place called Outside the Box in Clawson that does parties for girls.
  • Elizabeth - Check out has a ton of different places to go for different age groups. I just found this website and I am planning my summer already!
  • Christine - I did a pool party at the local rec center in December, and it was a huge hit! Canton and Romulus have some great indoor waterpark/slide type areas in their rec. centers.
  • Shannon - Create a driving scavenger hunt and have the kids unscramble the clues to tell you where to drive to next. We did this and it was a blast! They unscrambled our lunch destination, then the next cluelead us to a nail salon for a manicure (appointments made in advance), visited with "Nemo" at Moby Dicks in Waterford, etc. and ended at the CupCake Station in Birmingham and they each got to pick their own cupcake. It was so fun for all of us.
  • Shannon - warren community center has an amazing indoor water park! also, A Step Outside of the Box in clawson is very, very cool.
  • Christie - We rented a photo booth for my daughters 8th bday got it on groupon and while they were setting up we decorated cupcakes and did presents kids loved it and everyone had tons of photos in their gift bags
