So here I am, almost finished with month 2. The first month the pounds just flew off, and this month seems to be moving much slower. That is okay, I know I am doing great and I can see the difference. I have moved from a size 24 to a 20 (snug fit, and so what if I have to lay on the bed to zip them up).
So what am I doing to lose weight?
Eating Healthy - most of the time:)

Banana Delight ~300 calories
2 scoops Shaklee™ vanilla mix
1 cup water (or your choice of liquid)
1/2 medium banana
1 container Carb Masters Banan Creme Pie yogurt
1 tsp cinnamon
Ice cubes
Tropical Happiness (~373 calories)
2 scoops Shaklee™ Vanilla mix (180)
2 clementines (~70)
1 container Kroger Carbmaster Tropical Fruit yogurt (60)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 cup oatmeal Quaker (33)
1 tbs Flaxseed (30)
Orange Extract
Ice
Chocolate Banana (~370 calories)
2 scoops Shaklee™ Chocolate Mix (190 calories)
1 6 oz cup of Banana Cream Pie Yogurt (mine was Carb Masters from Kroger 60 calories)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (15 calories)
1 medium banana (105 calories)
ice as desired
This is crazy, but I'm training to run a 5k with Baby Boot Camp of Farmington. I'm doing interval training at least 4 times a week for at least 30 minutes. This week it is one minute jogging, one minute walking. This week I learned that I need to let my preset limitations go and realize I can do it if I try!
Motivation -
What motivates me? There are so many motivations to my weight loss. I think the biggest motivator at this point is seeing those numbers on the scale drop. I weigh myself and do a happy dance when I lose another pound.
My other motivations:
- my family
- health
- more energy
- smaller clothing
- increased confidence
Sticking with it -
The hardest thing for me to do is avoid the night time snacking. I simply love the shakes so it makes it easy to have just a shake for breakfast and one for lunch, but when evening rolls around, it's hard not to dive into my temptations.
I am also finding that Sundays are difficult. We go out to eat with my father for lunch, then over to my mom's house for dinner every week. Making healthier choices has been my goal when eating out, but it's hard.
Staying away from fast food - Taco Bell was my weakness I used to eat there at least once a week. I simply LOVE the food, but just isn't healthy (what I like to eat anyway). We have been skipping on the fast food for a couple of months now and only have gone about once a month and picking much healthier options (or trying to). This also helps with our finances.
Are you losing weight too? I would love to hear what motivates you and how your progress is going! Please leave a comment:)
