Defending The Caveman - Recap and Ticket Info

Guest Blogger: Ronald K. Lewis Jr.

Defending The Caveman
was a rolling romp through that most ancient, and mysterious of human customs: The relationship.  Having seen it for the first time tonight I cannot recommend it enough.  The show is a gem; thanks, in no small part, to the comedic timing of Kevin Burke.

The show, which is running through to the 24th at The City Theater, delivers on multiple levels; being simultaneously deeply insightful, uproariously funny, and completely relatable.  Its a play that attempts, through humor, to show both sides of what is often a confusing tangle of incredibly different emotions.  The show alternates between snarky and sweet; keeping the laughs rolling all the while.

This play will make you laugh, it will make you smile.  However; I think the greatest gift it will give you is it'll make you think.  So, from this reviewer to all of you, my advice is this: Round up your significant other, get a babysitter (if you need to), hop in your car and take a ride down to The City Theater and partake of Defending The Caveman.  You will not be disappointed.

Tickets are just $38 each and available online through ticketmaster
