Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate & Princess Adventure - Recap

Guest Blogger: Bri Mason

I took my daughter,  her best friend (and her mom!) to see Disney Jr. Live at the Palace of Auburn Hills last week.

We attended the afternoon show and had great seats a few sections back on the side of the stage.  The girls (5yo) were so excited to see Doc McStuffins when she came out for a quick 10 minute pre-show.  It was played out just like the TV show and the girls just loved singing along.

Mickey and Minnie mouse started the show with a quick introduction and dance.  Next we had Sophia the First!  I thought for sure the girls would just LOVE this part of the show because my little one is a Princess fanatic.  The way the show played out was there was a large screen that played the "set" behind the actual characters who were dancing and 'singing' in front.   All the main characters were there - including Baileywick!   A surprise  visit from Cinderella in the show got my girl giddy!

We had a short intermission before the Jake and the Neverland Pirates show started.  The girls were amped and ready for Jake to arrive.  And if there is one thing my girl loves more than Princesses - it's Peter Pan!   I knew he was supposed to show up in the show, and when he did - he didn't disappoint    He came in soaring through the air over the characters.  We loved the entire Jake part of the show and it was highly entertaining.  Capt Hook was his normal ornery self and the girls just loved singing along with it all.

All four of us had a great time at Disney Jr Live and I would most definitely take my little one to see this show again.
