Dragons - Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, November 13, 2013

What an action packed event!  This circus kept our attention for sure, with all of the bright light shows, sound effects and circus acts!
I am not one for circus acts, because of all of the animal cruelty stories that come out into the media, but I have to say that I was paying attention and these animals were not mistreated during the show in any way!  There was a lot of loving and gentle handling – and during intermission they even showed a video on animal care and conservation.  This was very reassuring!  Watching the show definitely changed my views on the circus and animal cruelty.

We stood for the National Anthem in the beginning, led by an Elephant with a Flag!  The kids loved this!  There was a story line to follow (I won’t give it away, don’t worry!) and it was easy for the kids to follow it.  You might wonder how the Circus could incorporate Dragons – but they did it, and it was awesome!  I think that this is a show that everyone should see, it’s different than the traditional circus and the adults love it just as much (if not more!) than the kids!

Watching all of the jumping, spinning, balancing and stunts during the performance really shows how hard the Acrobats and Trainers work to put on a phenomenal show!  The crew is very talented and I couldn't take my eyes off of the performance!

I definitely recommend going out and seeing this awesome show!  There are still SEVEN showings before they leave town, so be sure to reserve your seats!
