ROCHESTER, MI – January 21, 2014 – The City of Rochester has re-launched its website, www.rochestermi.org, with new features and enhancements to assist visitors in discovering all that Rochester has to offer.  The new, re-imagined website allows users easy-to-navigate access to all City information including news, special events, frequently asked questions, volunteer opportunities and much more.

Mayor Jeffrey T. Cuthbertson said of the new web site, "The City of Rochester is committed to accessible, responsive, and transparent government services and the launch of its new website is another quality delivery on this commitment.  In an ever-changing world where many first impressions are now made on the Internet, it is critical that the City's web presence is on par with the quality and charm of our community found in the physical world."

“The redesigned website is being launched to make it easier for citizens to become engaged in the community,” stated Jaymes Vettraino, Rochester City Manager.      “The addition of four key links - Service Requests, eNews, Apply to a Board or Commission and City Webcasts - are the action items we know that citizens look for when they visit the site and these are the quick links we are encouraging everyone to explore as great ways stay informed and communicate with the City.”

The new website also incorporates the City of Rochester, Where You Live brand not only in the design, but in communicating the values of the community, not only with residents, but with businesses and visitors as well.  With its relaxed atmosphere and endless opportunities, Rochester is one city that truly does live up to its tagline – “where you live”.
