Star Wars Day @ Imagination Station

Star Wars Day
Saturday, November 10

10am – 4pm

A galaxy far, far away is closer than you think!

Fly your spaceship to Imagination Station to meet your favorite characters from a

galaxy far, far away! The Star Wars universe is one of the greatest inspirations for fans of science
fiction, and the science center is celebrating this sci-fi phenomenon during Star Wars Day.

Members of the Ohio Garrison of the 501st Legion will be roaming the science center to take pictures
with fans and talk about all things Star Wars. As a special photo opportunity, visitors can take a picture
with an official Lucasfilm prop of Han Solo frozen in carbonite, accompanied by fan-favorite character
Boba Fett. Learn the ways of the Force with your favorite Rebels and Imperial troopers from the
movies, shows, books and games, all officially recognized by the 501st Legion, the world’s largest
organization of Star Wars cosplayers.

Plus, dive even deeper into the out-of-this-world franchise by checking out Popnology, sponsored by

Pepsi Beverage Companies. This temporary exhibition lets visitors get up close with replicas of droids

from the films, including fan favorite R2-D2. Popnology also features exhibits and replicas from other
popular sci-fi films, like “The Terminator” and “Back to the Future,” along with tons of hands-on
electronics that explore the link between popular culture and the evolution of science and technology.

All Star Wars Day activities are included with admission to the science center.

Imagination Station, Toledo’s Science Center, with hundreds of hands-on exhibits and
demonstrations,  delivers a multi-sensory experience that’s as fun as it is
educational.
