The Petting Farm at Domino’s Farms in Ann Arbor

Last week we ventured out to The Petting Farm at Domino’s Farms in Ann Arbor, which is located at 3001 Earhart Road.  Domino’s Farms covered the cost of our experience so we could share our experience with you.  Your experience may differ.

The Petting Farm at Domino’s Farms Hours and Fees

The Petting Farm is open daily, with seasonal hours, weather permitting.  Currently, hours are daily from 10 am to 4 pm, and on Thursday they open an hour earlier at 9 am.  General admission is $6 per person (children under the age of 2 are free), bags of feed are $2 and tractor rides are $2.    In addition to drop in visits, The Petting Farm at Domino’s Farms offers Family Memberships, Field Trips, Group Visits, Birthday Parties, and Pavilion Rentals.

The mission of the Petting Farm at Domino’s Farms is to serve the community by being a fun and educational place to visit.  In addition to the farm elements, this site is host to Griffith Station, where you can climb inside and explore a real train caboose.

The caboose is an amazing living quarters space. Inside you will see includes bunk beds, a full bathroom with shower, kitchen and dining area.  If you have a train lover in your family, this will certainly be at the top of your to see list.

The main buildings at Domino’s Farms include a beautiful gazebo, pavilion, main barn, pole barn,  and Griffith Station.  Smaller buildings include a chicken coop, peacock coop, and restrooms.

There is also a duck pond, where we spotted ducks, geese, and turtles during our visit.

Overall we had a great time exploring the property.  We stayed for about two hours, which included a hayride and lunch in the pavilion.
