Spreading MODness November 22-27 & Giveaway (ends 11/27)

We are so thrilled to be working with TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR) owned MOD Pizza to help spread MODness this holiday season.  I will receive a MOD gift card in exchange for this promotional post.  All opinions are my own, your experience may differ.

Local MOD Pizza restaurants (Livonia, Woodhaven, Rochester Hills, Brighton and Northville) will be donating $1 to locally-based organizations for every pizza sold November 22-27.

The MOD Pizza brand started in Seattle back in 2008 when a couple was inspired by their love of pizza and their need to feed four hungry boys.  Scott and Aly Svenson wanted to create something unique, a business that would create a memorable experience for both their customers and team members all while creating a fresh, handmade product they could deliver in just a few minutes.

They developed MOD Pizza, a fast casual restaurant, where customers can get a thin crust pizza or salad in a flash.  You can get one of their specialty pizzas (or salads) or load on your own toppings all for one price.

During Spreading MODness, a week in which the company and its restaurants focus on supporting at-risk youth and families, each MOD Pizza restaurant will donate $1 for every pizza sold to locally-based organizations from November 22-27. Joining over 175 nonprofits across the U.S. that will be the beneficiaries of Spreading MODness 2016, the following organizations will be the recipients of the funds raised at TSFR’s five MOD Pizza restaurants:
  • Woodhaven MOD Pizza (23071 Allen Road): Woodhaven Brownstown Education Foundation
  • Livonia MOD Pizza (13229 Middlebelt Road): Livonia Public Schools (LPS) Education Foundation
  • Rochester Hills MOD Pizza (3058 S. Rochester Road): The Rainbow Connection
  • Brighton MOD Pizza (8605 W. Grand River): Make-A-Wish® Michigan
  • Northville MOD Pizza (18821 Traditions Drive): Northville Educational Foundation
“As we continue to witness the acts of generosity and gratitude that happen every day in our restaurants, we want to pay that forward to our community, and celebrating MOD’s birthday with Spreading MODness is a fun and special way to do that,” said TSFR Brand Leader of MOD Pizza Jake Schostak. “By partnering with these organizations, we are able to spotlight their inspiring work and set the example for how showing compassion for one another and completing a genuine deed can lead to others doing the right thing in our community – not only during this campaign, but throughout the year.”

This year celebrates the fourth year of Spreading MODness, and through its celebration of “Gratitude with Attitude,” each of MOD’s 182 stores will be supporting their local charity, with a goal to donate over $250,000.
