Weekends will be filled with live piano music from Ann Arbor’s most talented musicians.

 Briarwood Mall, a Simon mall, is proud to announce that Jim King of King’s Keyboard House will once again provide shoppers with free, live performances on the grand piano in Center Court. The performances will take place every other Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m., and will continue through the holiday season.
King’s Keyboard House, founded in 1961, is a family owned business. Current owner Jim King took over his father’s business is 2006 and his sister Julie manages the sheet music and musical gifts and accessories department. The full-service piano store offering new and used upright, grand, digital, and player pianos, keyboards and more also services, tunes, and moves pianos. King’s Keyboards is located at 2363 E. Stadium Blvd. in Ann Arbor.  

“We are very excited to continue this tradition,” said Denise Murray, director of marketing and business development at Briarwood Mall. “Jim King has a wonderful connection to the musical community and our shoppers will love the live music while they shop and eat. The music program will flourish in his capable hands.”

Musicians will vary each weekend, but some upcoming performances include Eunyoung Yim, whose 40-year career has included performances in Sejong Hall in Seoul, South Korea, and Jeju Island, Korea; and H. Daniel Muhajid, a jazz musician who currently performs with Motor City Beat.
