Harrison Township Waterfront Park is a beautiful park right on Lake St. Clair. Located at 34890 Jefferson Ave, it is right off of I94, Shook Road exit.
The park hosts a playground with baby swings, regular swings, two play structures (one designed for younger children) and a climbing dome.
Harrison Township Waterfront Park also hosts a basketball hoop, two volleyball courts, restroom facilities, a pavilion, and a boardwalk for fishing.
Just outside the pavilion is a large charcoal grill which makes this a perfect spot for parties and special events. You can get more info about pavillion rental on their website.
The railed boardwalk provides a perfect spot for fishing, feeding the ducks or a relaxing stroll. Harrison Township Waterfront park is neatly nestled between two luxury condominium complexes and doesn’t have a large sign on Jefferson, so it’s easy to pass up.
But that’s also why residents refer to the Waterfront Park as a hidden gem of Harrison Township.
