90 Days - No Auto Loan Payments? Yipeee!

When the time comes to buy a new car, it tends to be a stressful time.  Finding the perfect car is a difficult task just by itself.  But then you add gathering a down payment, obtaining financing, changing your insurance policy, selling your current car, adding a car payment to your budget, and it becomes a task that takes much more time than a busy mom has to spend.

Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union has sponsored this post so we can share this great opportunity and giveaway with you.

Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union makes buying a car (or refinancing your existing auto loan) a lot easier with their 90 days - No Payment Auto Loan Program.

When you finance your new or used auto loan with Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union (CCF), you will be payment-free for 90 days, which means you can enjoy that new vehicle and some extra activities!  Or, Cornerstone may be able to save you money by refinancing your existing auto loan from another financial institution. By refinancing your auto loan with CCF, you can still take advantage of the limited time 90 day, no payment offer. <Apply now

How would you spend three months’ worth of car payments? Here is my list of 15 ideas in no particular order:
  1. I'm all in for a mini-staycation, probably to Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City

  2. I could seriously use some me time at the spa with my bestie (who is also my mom) probably a massage, facial, pedicure, and manicure.

  3. Date Night with Hubby, because let's face it, quality time isn't happening at home with the three minions running around.  A nice night out to talk in a space where it is quiet. This would probably include dinner, movie, and a hotel room.

  4. I'm buying a new car seat.  It's time for Naomi to move up to the next seat, and I would love to buy a convertible car seat that would extend her rear facing time.  And let's face it... those aren't exactly inexpensive.

  5. I would buy a new mattress.  Seriously, I am kicking myself going "cheap" this last time around.  This time I want to feel like I am sleeping on a cloud.  I'm having back issues, waking up several times in a night... it's a waking nightmare.

  6. I would buy the BEST seats possible for The Musical, Wicked which is coming to Detroit later this year.  This is one of my favorites and I would be so thrilled to have front row seats.

  7. I'm going to Mabel Gray in Hazel Park to enjoy the tasting menu, without kids.  An epic dining experience sans minors, yup.

  8. I would hire a party planner for the girls' birthday celebration in July.  It would be so nice to sit back, relax and enjoy the party I'm hosting.

  9. I would schedule a family photography session.  I'm almost always behind the camera, so we don't have a ton of photos that feature our whole family.  Photos are such an important keepsake, they tell a story that lives beyond the moment that can be shared for generations to come.

  10. I would freshen up our house with a new front door.  Right now we have a standard white wood door with a boring window.

  11. Take a cooking class with my hubby.  I love cooking, so I think it would be totally fun to take a class and learn more about the art.

  12. Update my memberships to The Detroit Zoo, The Henry Ford, The Michigan Science Center, Metro Parks pass and more.  We like to get out of the house at least once a week.  Memberships make that so much easier.

  13. Hire a cleaning service. Enough said.

  14. Hire someone to wash the windows and clean the gutters. These are jobs I hate doing but hate the thought of paying someone to do them more.

  15. But in all reality, what I would likely do with the money is so boring and lame... but makes the most sense, I would put our extra money in the bank for a rainy day, so when life throws it's next punch, I'm ready.
