Women Helping Women Luncheon & Fashion Show Tomorrow

Guest Blog Post written by Shannon Lazovski
As the chair of the Grace Center's of Hope Women Helping Women Luncheon & Fashion Show, I wanted to send some info to you regarding our 20th anniversary Spring event. The event will be held April 21 from 10-2 at the Royal Park Hotel.

Grace Centers of Hope has been a catalyst, impacting the lives of hurting women and children in southeast Michigan, for the last 27 years. The programs at Grace Centers of Hope provide a multitude of services uniquely focused on the needs of women who are determined to remove themselves from abusive and addictive environments. Like all programs at Grace Centers of Hope, the Women’s One Year Life Skills Program is supported solely by private and corporate donations, as we do not accept any government funding.

We would like to extend a distinct opportunity for you to be an advocate for these women. Your support of this event is vital to Grace Centers of Hope’s mission to help women be self-sufficient, productive members of society.  Our generous sponsors have helped thousands of women over the last 20 years.

Your Impact
Last year, The Women Helping Women Luncheon and Fashion Show raised over $130,000 for the Women’s & Children’s Program at Grace Centers of Hope, allowing us to serve over 80,000 meals and provide over 25,000 nights of stay for the women and children in our programs.

How you can support the Women’s Program
Please consider attending the 20th Annual “Women Helping Women” Luncheon & Fashion Show this coming April 21, 2017. (*Sorry, at this time we are no longer accepting silent auction donations, but monetary donations can still be accepted.)

We are expecting over 500 women this year. Guests will be enjoying a full lunch, a silent auction with over 92 baskets and a raffle for the following prizes:
  • Free Day of Beauty by Luigi Bruni Salon
  • $500 Shopping Spree to the Village of Rochester Hills
  • $500 Day at the Woodhouse Spa at The Village of Rochester Hills
A fashion show will be the highlight of the event where Spring fashions will be celebrated from select stores at Somerset Collection and three Michigan Designers.  This is year two that we are celebrating Made in Michigan designs and the runway will feature styles hand made here in the mitten from Bonnie Foley via Christiane LaRue, Katerina Bocci and Rachelle Willnus aka Derby Hats by Rachelle. Models are provided by RGA Model Management and 6 ladies from our very own shelter will walk the runway as well.  Our salon sponsor is Luigi Bruni Salon and Men in Black sponsored by Salesforce.com.
